Neither my XFR or F-Type have ever made the noise in question. Lots of other noises - ticks and rattles and clunks - but not that one. Of all the proffered causes I vote for exhaust pulse/resonance, and my second vote goes to either or both of the high pressure fuel pumps (down low on the RHS of the engine looking from the driver's seat). Engine Failure.
