North Texas law enforcement agencies and fire departments are participating in the 14th annual Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Motorcade Wednesday. 2022 at 6:07 pm. Nationally, there are 65 living recipients of the Medal of Honor, which dates back to 1863 and was created under President Abraham Lincoln in the early days of the Civil War.
