An Archetype includes the character's , Advantages and Disadvantages, , Equipment, etc. In Drakensang there are 20 different archetypes available to the hero, 1 for each profession. Most of these Professions are available in both a male and a female
Then they have 'Body of Ore' which makes stones fly around the Geode and do damage. I use that, but it's not very good either, the casting time is long and the damage isn't that exciting. Another one is "Body of Sumu" or something, which does 'massive' damage according to the description, but gives you 2 wounds. So basically all you need to do is: (a) Select your audio/speaker icon and select it being your main audio program. (b) Right click on the corresponding audio icon in order to open it's properties. (c) Select the advanced options and adjust the sample frequency to 24 bits, 48000 Hz (Studio). Can confirm what BlueDraconis said. If you add -windowed to the drakensang.exe, the game will run no problem. I played it myself a couple of months ago from start to finish (again). I hadn't played it since it originally released and was curious how it would hold up. The "funny" thing about this is, only Drakensang - River of Time has this problem. What abilities you take will really depend on what class you start with. In all you'll eventually have a choice of 10 companions. 3 you get fairly early in the game, with the rest coming as you play. Of your companions at the start, 1 already has healing & plant / animal lore, 1 has magic and 1 thief.
